Reflecting (Flipping)Reflect shapes across a mirror line, understanding a reflection keeps size but flips direction.A reflection flips a shape across a mirror line, like a mirror image. Every point moves to the same distance on the opposite side. The shape stays the same size but faces the opposite way, and matching mirrored halves make a line of symmetry.
Translating (Sliding)Translate shapes by sliding a set number of squares, and tell translations from reflections.A translation slides a shape to a new position without flipping or turning it, described by how many squares it moves across and up or down.
