Sorting by How It FeelsLearn that sorting means grouping things and practise sorting by hard and soft.Sorting means putting things into groups that go together. Things in a group share something the same. We can sort by how things feel, putting hard things like a rock in one group and soft things like a sponge in another.

Light things like a cork float on top, and heavy things like a stone sink to the bottom. Some materials are waterproof, like a raincoat, which keeps the water out, while others soak it up and get soggy.
