📘 A salt marsh lives between land and sea
A salt marsh is a coastal wetland flooded and drained by tides, usually beside a protected bay, estuary, or lagoon. Its main plants are grasses and other nonwoody plants, not trees. Salt water, fresh runoff, mud, and air meet in the same.
